Reviews and Ratings
I stayed in the Admiral Suite which offered spacious accommodations, including a kitchenette, dining area, and living room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, but unfortunately, the room was not as clean as expected, and the refrigerator emitted a horrible smell.
Staying at the hotel was like having my own little studio with a full kitchen, fridge, table, and coffee maker, which was great. However, the room turned out to be dirty, and the refrigerator had a horrible smell.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms had a slight moldy smell, but the bed was comfortable, and having a kitchen was convenient. However, there weren't enough silverware. The service was a bit hit or miss; some staff, like my friend with an Egyptian name, were extremely helpful and friendly, while others, including the waiting staff at the bar and restaurant, seemed borderline rude and indifferent. The location was exquisite with spectacular views, perfect for a relaxing stay in Samana, but it was quite far from the center of Santa Barbara de Samaná. The dining experience had its ups and downs; the meals were good but service could be slow at times. The facilities were decent overall.
